Lori Heiden opened 4L Designs in February 2003 as a result of encouragement from close friends and family who knew her talent, creativity, and drive for success. Lori's goal is to build a business that delights her customers, is driven by personally rewarding work, and allows her to spend quality time with her family. To quote Dale Carnegie: "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing".

After receiving a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University Lori went on to work in state government and several Fortune 500 companies. She has over 19 years of experience developing and managing a variety of large-scale, multi-million dollar, information systems including:

• Supply-chain management and manufacturing systems (including shop-floor scheduling) used by major automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
• Distributed real-time systems. Lori supported and developed components of LEIN (Law Enforcement Information Network) the system used by police departments throughout Michigan.

Lori's in-depth knowledge of database management and reporting systems, her project management, quality assurance, and customer driven experience are all top-notched.

Since leaving corporate life post 9/11 Lori has immersed herself in the world of Internet web pages and content management and has extended her already strong technical skills to include web application development tools such as PHP and MySQL.

Lori has a creative flair that was never fully utilized in her corporate career. A longtime amateur photographer and Adobe Photoshop enthusiast, Lori is now able to channel this passion through digital photography and web graphics presentation. The combination of Lori's creativity, technical skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction makes for an unbeatable combination.
